Ok, I Fell For It: Wurk.net
Got this email, which seemed like a nice excursion after an extremely dense, although fruitful, interview with Linda Stone, the leading exponent of the pros and cons of Continuous Partial Attention (interview written up tomorrow):

Sounded vaguely interesting, although larded with discordant buzzwords that didn't add up to anything concrete. But I clicked through, and found this:

I typed in my blog URL, and...

Which led to ...

Truly a good joke, and I actually fell for it.
The final click brought me to to Wurk.net:
What is wurk.net?wurk.net is the freshest career resource on the net. Put simply, it’s a network of blogs that each cover job hunting, career advice and everything else to do with working in a specific industry sector.
And good luck to them: they made me laugh out loud. Some smart marketing person deserves a raise.

One down.
Only 4,999,999 to go.
;o))
Thanks Stowe - we had a laugh making it, too!

That's great, there's some really clever marketing going on out there, past all the banner ads and mindless stuff. Onya Wurk!

Ohhh, there's a third page! I got the same thing but there's absolutely no "Click through to see the results" on mine at all. Guess much like Web 2.0 they couldn't code it to work in a multitude of browsers *g*
