First Glimpse: New Yahoo Home Page

I was alerted to a peek at the new Yahoo home page Yahoo!, which is a good go at cleaning up the (frankly) chaos of the existing Yahoo. Richard MacManus has a detailed review, here. Looks like a stronger orientation toward search, use of Ajax to speed things up, and easier personalization. It's beta, but I bet they will go live soon.

I'm sorry, but this is the reason why I never got into Yahoo. They seem to take 'bloat-ware' to a whole new level. Cluttery, and loaded with crap that I never use or cannot get rid of. Not to be a downer, but It seems that no matter what Yahoo application I use, (messenger, etc.) I start getting a head-ache. I am in no way a minimalist, but,,,,wow!
