Nick Douglas at Valleywag misconstrued the "A Working Model" company name:
I looked at Under the Radar sched and completely misread this line: "Judges: Stowe Boyd, A Working Model."I imagined Stowe strutting down a runway.
Dunno about you, but I'm thinking "underwear model."
Thanks, Nick. I'm flattered.

Wow Stowe, I've thought of you as a lot of things but I'll have to admit that underwear model isn't one of them!

Doug - I think Nick is overpowered by my excess of personality.
Anina - Nice to have you visit! AWM started as an elaborate joke, really.
1/ I use the term a lot, in a technical sense.
2/ I enjoy working with early-stage companies, when the challenge is to get a working model up and running: both the business and the product.
3/ And of course, I *obviously do not* have the look of a model.
However, now that I am being paid to wear T shirts, I guess I am a model, of sorts!
