More on AOL and The Open Web

Jonathan Miller's efforts to turn around the Titanic AOL before it hits the iceberg and sinks are the subject of a a piece by Saul Hansen in the New York Times this morning. Doesn't add anything substantive to the debate that started last week, when Miller approached Time Warner execs with the idea of jettisonning the moribund subscription service and going open (see Jonathan Miller Must Be Reading My Blog).

I get a real kick out of the fact I recommended this course of action last week (see AOL and The Open Web), and then this hits!
