TalkPlus

TalkPlus, voice 2.0 company has announced a new service that allows people to have a second number on their cell phone, using the company's VOIP technology. The company seems targeted on various demographics that might want a second number, such as traveling business people, and those in the dating scene who might want a better way to separate work and business lives. In the future, they plan to offer multiple TalkPlus numbers on one phone, international number, and other features.

TalkPlus also announced a $5.5 series A round from Menlo Ventures.
