Platial MapKit

Di-Ann Eisnor recently pinged me about a new widget from Platial: the MapKit allows users to create a Platial map, and drop it into their blog (or MySpace page... whatever). Here's the new widget on /Message that I hope readers will use to post wherever they are when reading the blog:

Mapkit

If you want to make the map skinny, like I did, you have to hack the javascript. Here's what Di-Ann told me to do:

[via email]

Simply, get your mapkit and add the line...
MapKit.width="150px";

just above the line MapKit.display()

I can't wait to see what gets put into the map. If I get spammed there, I will call it "geospam."
