Trillian Astra

I saw that Trillian is working on a new baseline for their multi-headed instant messaging client, called Trillian Astra. Looks like an efforts on one hand to boost performance, and on the other, to deeply embed themselves into the web 2.0 and social networking revolution going on.

There is no beta yet, just some screen captures in a flash demo, but it sound like they are pushing a little into my "Nerdvana" style of digital identity, but not very far. Just a collation of links to various accounts -- MySpace is apparently the biggest request these days -- as well as a web chat that you can embed on your blog or MySpace accounts.
