Seems that Skype is going to work on the Nokia 770 and 800 Internet Tablets:
[from Will Skype save Nokia Internet Tablets?]Nokia will release in an early beta (without SkypeIn/SkypeOut support) in a few weeks, but the full version of Skype client is expected later this summer, Virtanen says. The Skype support, if nothing else, makes the N800 more attractive to folks who don’t want to lug a laptop along on short day trips.
I am supposed to be getting one of these soon, as part of the Nokia Bloggers project. Hey, Andy! Where's my tablet?

heh. just bought lisa a 770 over the weekend for EXACTLY the "don't want to lug the laptop" reason; she loves it. good to hear that they may finally have the skype port coming down the pike. even without it, the gChat integration is stellar, and the browser is sweet.
