Google Goobles Jaiku

Google, on his path to creating a blur between social apps and mobile devices, has acquired the innovative flow application company, Jaiku:

Exciting news: Google has bought Jaiku today.

What does that mean? First and foremost, we’re of course continuing to support our existing users. So fear not: your Jaiku phone, the Web site, IM, SMS, and API will continue to work normally.

Note the Jaiku phone -- that's why I thought Nokia would buy them -- but Google is barreling ahead with a vision about telephony that is likely to blindside Nokia and others.
