In Australia, we call the last one a long black (Caffè lunghi). The US is the only place I know calls it an Americano (perhaps unsurprisingly).

According to various sources -- and my experience in Italy -- it was originally an Italian term. And Wikipedia specifically says it should not be confused with a long black: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Americano_%28coffee%29

The info graphics are excellent. The content is not exactly correct in the home of Italian-style coffee, ummm, Italy.

Here's the deal*:
Caffé latte has no foam, or so little as not count for much. Flat white e caffé breve do not exist :) The Americano is distinct from the caffé lungo. The caffé lungo is served in the traditional small espresso cup, but the barista allows more water to flow through the coffee creating a more diluted espresso. The americano is served in a standard coffee cup with a shot of espresso and a pitcher of steamed water so that you add as much water as you prefer.

*My credentials are: american living in Italy +15 years.

That's a very nice chart. With all the crazy coffee lingo these days, it really simplifies things for me. I lean towards the Americano and the Flat White. Can I uses these terms in Starbucks too?

Not Flat White, but Americano, yes.
