Thoughts For Tonight's Tweetup

Reston: I am attending the aptly named MD/DC/VA Tweetup tonight (which is apparently meeting in a new location, for you oldtimers).

I am nominally on the roster as 'The Stowe Boyd' and it says that I will chat with the other twitterers.... but about what?

I guess I will dither a bit on Twitter as a flow application, and where I think that is leading us.

But I also thought I would do the talk 'via' Twitter. Instead of a Powerpoint, I am going to post a few tweets, outlining the talk as I go, and inviting the others to Twitter and talk in response.

I fooled with Twitter, changing the backdrop for each of the topic sentences I am using to frame the discussion, and here they are:

(slides are also available at https://stoweboyd.backpackit.com/pub/1400272).

Looking forward to hanging with "The Stowe Boyd" tonight. Nice twitter hack in this post!

Looking forward to hearing from you tonight, especially after reading this. The Twitter slide method enforces the "don't use too much text" and "use images to convey emotional impact" rules - really nice idea!

Stowe,

We specifically did not tell you on what to talk relying on your creativity, spontaneity, and sense for improvisation. What's on this page is exciting and original. I am looking forward to that!!

Nahum

Very creative, Stowe.
