Entrepreneurialitis: Version 1.0 Webinar Thu 10am PT

The copy at the GlobalLogic website is a bit too general, but Sachin Saxena (Version 1.0), Vas Bhandarkar (Sequoia), and I will be herded along by John Hitchcock (GlobalLogic) on the topic of Software Startups. You register online.

I will be presenting a blitz presentation (10 minutes) called Entrpreneurialitis, defined as the acute or chronic stupitidy induced by entrepreneurial activity.

I will be motivating the talk with anecdotes from the many start-ups I have been involved with.

Sachin will be talking about his experience with start-ups from another angle: Roadblocks to Success.

Vas will be dealing with funding and financing questions from the attendees.

Should be interesting.

I am working with GlobalLogic on the Version 1.0 activity, which is something we have been working on for only a few months. It's a new line of business with GlobalLogic focused on helping new startups get their product from conception to the release of Version 1.0. More to follow.

Stowe,

Great presentation on the webinar. Food for the soul in many ways. le I registered because of a relationship with GlobalLogic.... but I had been twittering with folks about your blog - completely unbeknownst that you were going to be presenting. The world is a very small place when you get connected with social media. You've inspired at least one blog post (http://blogs.ittoolbox.com/cio/original-thinking/archives/the-world-is-smaller-than-you-think-23530) and I think you've inspired a few more in days to come.

Thanks!!!

Dennis
