PR Secrets? Hmmm...

Loic Lemeur thinks the idea of PR Secrets is bullshit. He makes a case that other CEOs should follow his supremely extroverted and super-connected lead, and skip the PR, getting right into community connectedness.

He suggests that Brian Solis' recommendations are at least merely tactics, or at the best misleading.

I guess I fall in the middle on this one. I think that CEOs like Loic can blaze a trail for their products, especially if the product is a communication tool, like Seesmic. Other mere mortals who are trying to flog something not so immediately tied to a captive community might benefit from a savvy PR expert.
