Nora Ephron: Gore For Vice President
I am with Nora Ephron on this one: Gore for Obama's VP. He has all the necessary characteristics:
[Nora Ephron: What About It, Al? - Politics on The Huffington Post]You're white.
You're experienced.
You're older than I am and younger than John McCain.
You're qualified to be president, and yet I have no fear of being upstaged by you.
You were right on Iraq.
You're from the South.
You have an Oscar, an Emmy and a Nobel Prize.
And more than any politician, you're an exemplar of change because you changed yourself.
What about it, Al?
Yeah, what about it, people?

Surely You're Joking, Mr Boyd!
Mr Gore is indeed an example of change: he changed himself form VP into something else. Only when he wasn't VP did he get his Oscar, Emmy and Nobel awards. NOT being a VP make him a hot property.

Absolutely not. First, Gore has more freedom to do what he wants to do by not being part of the government. Second, exactly what would he do as VP? He wasn't exactly stellar the first time around. He was "awright." Third, I'd love to see John Edwards in the spot.

I would absolutely love this. I have been saying this for a while. I would love to see this happen. He is qualified. Besides that. The things that were good about the Clinton Administration that created a surplus, he would know about. We would be able to get that type of experience plus Obama's without a Clinton.
