Alex Bellos demonstrates a very cool, and strange way to multiply (via BloomsburyPublishing)
This is a visual representation of the Criss-Cross method for doing rapid multiplication on paper. Honestly, I prefer just doing it in my head. This method has the benefit that if you can count and draw perpendicular lines, you can’t get it wrong.
