Marshall McLuhan: You Know Nothing of My Work | Brain Pickings
Douglas Copeland has written an ‘almost-biography’ of Marshall McLuhan, the patron saint of the internet, called Marshall McLuhan: You Know Nothing of My Work!. I have yet to read it, but I am looking forward to it.
I like the title, which is taken from Woody Allen’s Annie Hall, which featured McLuhan in a cameo. Woody Allen and Diane Keaton are waiting in a movie theater line, listening to a opinionated jerk going on about Fellini, Beckett, and finally McLuhan (about 2 minutes into the clip).
