My new Tumblr theme, Inspire Well, has some cool features. One is that posts can be designated to be a default intermediate width, an extra small width (‘xs’) or extra large width (‘xl’).These designations are made by the use of Tumblr tags, like ‘xs’, or can be set to all wide or all default widths in the theme settings.
For those that read the blog by actually visiting the www.stoweboyd.com website will see a jumble of stories of different widths, perhaps more visually interesting than a monotonic march of same-sized posts marching down the page. There is no way — currently — for the reader to ask for a presentation of same-sized stories, alas, but you can make the browser window narrower to reduce the jumble a bit. Or you can wander through stories one-at-a-time by using the previous post button in the footer.
