Zvents. Probably the Best Event Calendar in the World!

I was surprised to see that my Stowe Travel calendar in the right margin unexplicably was empty this morning. It seems that Eventful has lost its mind, and I thought at first it might just be me, but I think the database is hosed, or offline. Not only does it claim that I have no upcoming or past events in my Stowe Travel calendar, but when I examine those events that I know are real, like the upcoming DC 2.0: State of Web 2.0 event (15 Mar in Reston, VA… don’t miss it!), eventful shows that the event is already in my Stowe Travel calendar. Even when I break that link and remake it, it shows no events in my calendar.

I was planning to try the new AIM eventful bot, so I did. It demonstrates again how messed up the system is, at least at this moment. There are no upcoming events, of any sort, in DC or San Francisco:

Teach me to start depending on technology.
