Did Kevin Rose Take Some of Digg’s New Cash? - GigaOM
Google apparently has walked away from acquisition of Digg. Maybe they don’t like the fact that 1% of the users are generating 32% of the visits: the black market of paid Digglers. Also seems that Kevin Rose has taken out some cash in the recent $30M round. Smart. Might never see that valuation again.

Cash Crunch At New York Times (NYT): $400 Million Due In May
I love the NY Times, but its in a bad place, and needs to take some drastic action. I think it should sell non-essential assets (like the Boston Globe and the Redsox), and move aggressively to a Web-based business model.

Fred Stutzman spins an analogy of enterprise Twitter and subject only email. I think the public discourse is the more beneficial and challenging part for companies, though.
