Sample Of Responses To My Question: How To Keep Track?

So, what are people using for keeping track of stuff that pops up on the web? Bookmarks in the browser? Social tools? What?

Stowe Boyd about 18h ago via twhirl

@stoweboyd Diigo works well for me

robpatrob at 26-05-2008 22:55

ninefish at 26-05-2008 22:35

adriana872 at 26-05-2008 20:43

dougcornelius at 26-05-2008 20:26

@stoweboyd i have a tumblr blog, but almost never use it. probably cos it’s not convenient enough.

Suw at 26-05-2008 20:20

@stoweboyd goggle alerts, additomatic.com both help to monitor “stuff”

bethlambert at 26-05-2008 20:19

@stoweboyd been using a personal wiki since 2005, before that bookmarks - tried deli.cio.us etc but couldn’t be arsed to sign in every time

freecloud at 26-05-2008 20:17

interstar at 26-05-2008 20:09

MaxKaizen at 26-05-2008 20:05

@stoweboyd  : mixture of Mind Traffic Control for “to read” items + my personal wiki and / or blogs for long term storage and annotation.

interstar at 26-05-2008 20:05

@stoweboyd. if it’s compelling then i blog it and give it a cool operant phrase. i remember my own operant phrases.

OldSchoolCobb at 26-05-2008 19:57

@stoweboyd i use delicious to save items to a small list of predefined categories and tumblr for excerpts that i may want to search later

robzand at 26-05-2008 19:54

I wonder if the upcoming ‘Awesome Bar’ for Firefox 3 — and its inevitable competitors — will change this significantly? (I like the idea of publishing that stuff, myself, so I don’t see the benefit of links stored in my browser, per se.)

Additomatic.com was a new find for me. Kind of interesting.

I have to take a look at ‘Mind Control Traffic’ whatever that is.
