Social Presence Summit - Fall 2007

I am officially announcing the Social Presence Summit, a new one-day event dedicated to the tools and technologies of social presence (a la Twitter, Plazes, Facebook, and other more established technologies like instant messaging presence), and their impacts on society, media, and business.

Please join the Social Tools group at Facebook, and follow the topic there, if you are interested in participating, being notified when dates and venue are settled, or if you have any suggestions.

I am producing the event with SF Beta’s Christian Perry, who will be managing the logistical side of things.

Discussions with potential sponsors would be great; in particular, I am seeking a venue for the event, something large enough for a few hundred folks for a day this fall in the general SF bay area.
